New Reviewer!

Hi, please give a warm welcome to Jay for becoming our fourth reviewer at World of Diversity Fiction! Here’s a bit biography of him–

Jay Chase
Jay A little about Jay… Jay works for corporate America during the day and spends his free time with his partner of eighteen years and his two grown sons, when they have time for their dads. They have two cats and live in upstate NY. He has been a reader all his life. Until about three years ago he was a murder, thriller, suspense reader. While he still picks up a Dean Koontz or John Saul novel once in a while he is hooked on M/M Romance. Typically after the daily chores are done, and Monika and Jay aren’t gabbing, he is found with his nose in a book.

We’re happy to have him part of our team. His first review will be on The More Things Change by K.C. Beaumont published by Silver Publishing.

Coming This Week… June 16 to June 22

Two more weeks left in June! And it’s deadly hot over here in Arizona. We’re getting humidity, which mean Monsoon season has begin. :( Air Conditioner is my best friend for now. :D

Coming This Week… June 9 to June 15

I know I missed this type of post last Sunday. We had a guest over here and boy, he sure kept us busy as bees. Nevertheless, my partner and I had a great time. Now, we have house all to ourselves. Which mean I have more time to pay attention to beloved World of Diversity Fiction. :D As I mentioned two Fridays ago, my review team and I are still reviewing 30 books in total for Dreamspinner’s Make a Play daily dose. So far, we have already reviewed 9 books out of 30. That doesn’t change. :)

What’s Going on in June?

As some of you may already know that Dreamspinner Press is releasing a book a day from June 1 to June 30. It’s called Make a Play and there will be 30 books in total. We, the reviewers, take on a challenge to read and review the book every day from June 1 to 30. That is including the weekend. We hope you’ll enjoy reading our reviews on the books from DSP’s Make a Play. It’s going to be awesome month! I’ll still post what’s coming this week as I always did every Sunday for our regular book reviews. The first book will be this Saturday! We hope you’ll have fun seeing us take on a challenge :D

Coming This Week… May 27 to May 31

Well, look at us! We’re currently on last week of May and June’s next! My partner’s birthday is this Tuesday and we’re going to celebrate at a fabulous wine bar. Even better, his two daughters are in town and that makes him happy. I hope everyone has been having a great memorial day weekend. For us, it was all shopping (hey, you can’t beat the crazy sales). Alright, here’s what we have reviewed the previous week and what we will share to you this week!

Coming This Week… May 6 to May 10

Wow, it is really May now. Summer’s coming up. Swimming pool is getting warm slowly. And Feather has been living with me for a week now. :D She is not housebroken yet but she’s getting there. Our other dog, Pepper, is slowly getting along with her. He’s still moody whenever Feather wants to play with him. Everything takes time. :D Now, I did manage to find time to read and I’m excited to share the reviews this week. Our third reviewer will not be able to review this week due to a personal reason. She’s in our thoughts! She will be back in no time. ;D

Coming This Week… April 29 to May 3

I apologize for not posting this yesterday. Although, I do have a good reason. :D My partner and my dog, Pepper, a Mini Schnauzer has a new sister. We walked into PetSmarts only to buy Pepper more food since we’re running low for his food. There was a rescue pets happening inside the store. We usually check them out and be on our way to do what we were supposed to do. This time, it didn’t happen. One look at adorable large ears with beautiful hazel (can dogs have hazel eyes?) eyes and my partner and I had to adopt her. Her name is Feather and she is a Chiweenie (a hybrid of Chihuahua and Dachshund. Ready for all adorable pictures? Well, you got it!

Snuggling on one area of the couch that was tiny enough for her to fit in.

That’s why I didn’t post anything yesterday. I was busy giving Feather attention she deserves and of course, giving Pepper attention and make sure he knows he isn’t being replaced. He was moody last night. heh :) Now, onto the review business :D
